Weaving circle
It's time to get together again! The next meeting of the Weaving Circle at Clitterhouse Farm is on Saturday, 7 November, 11-13h.
What is pine needle weaving?
Pine needle baskets are handcrafted from the long, flexible needles of pine trees. This is an ancient craft, each piece is stitched by hand, reflecting the creativity of the maker.
Our group meets monthly, newcomers can learn basic techniques and those who are already familiar with pine needles weaving can learn new stitches, and experiment with new designs.
The pine needles and all other materials are provided. You can work on a basket, a wall hanging, or a bracelet, as you like!
You have the option of registering for a 'one-off' session (£26), or register for 3 sessions and get a discount (£50/3). We will continue in September after the summer break.

Festival of Crafts at Farnham Maltings
Welcome to festival of crafts, our autumn showcase of the UK's finest artisans.
Part of Farnham Craft Month, our annual two-day event features a curated selection of handmade crafts across all media, including homewares, jewellery, ceramics, stationery, accessories, furniture, textiles and print.
The festival champions great design and the process of using both traditional and modern techniques and skills. This event offers a relaxed environment for visitors to browse and meet and buy directly from the makers.

A Potter, Weaver and Artist Illustrator will be displaying original work in a variety of media at The Ottershaw Potter studio. Demonstrations and workshops will be taking place throughout the day.
